Abby, oh my ... I can't put into words how wonderfully great she is! She fits into our family just perfectly. She is easy going, most of the time, and can easily be distracted with a little "Wheels on the Bus" if necessary. She talks, a lot. I have lost count of the number of words in her vocabulary ... I think we are up to about 40 words. I will literally say a word once or twice, she looks at me as if she's trying to figure it out, and repeats it! Please and thank you are her newest words from this week. My favorites she says are bath and bite. They have a southern flair to them, and she usually repeats them multiple times in a row because they excite her so much, LOL. Her brother is her best friend and her worst enemy (he can be a little rough at times), but she totally ADORES him! She tries to repeat anything he does or says. She loves her babies and her Minnie Mouse. Her newest obsession is brushing her teeth. She walks around "teeth, teeth, teeth" until she finds a toothbrush ... any one will do! She opens the top drawer in her bathroom, pulling herself up on her tipi-toes, and reaches in to grab any toothbrush she can find. She knows just where to find mommy's too, which I need to hide. I have to keep Gabe's on the counter, out of her reach! She would walk around all day with her toothbrush if I'd let her! She also still loves her bath, but hates getting her hair rinsed. Books entertain her for long periods of time, especially animal books. She is obsessed with my iPhone and the iPad and knows exactly how to find HER apps. I can pretty much trust her to stay within her folders! She weighed 23.7 lbs (71st %) and was 32 in (93rd %) at her 15 month appt. She is still in her Chicco carseat (I know, I know) and rear facing. She actually still fits nicely in her seat and doesn't seem to mind the backwards position. I'm trying to do what is best for her, but I so badly want to turn her around! Movies are magical to her, Tangled still being her fav. She says "Punzel"! If you ask her if she wants to watch Tangled, Tinker Bell, Sophia ... really anything ... she replies "Uh huh" and b-lines for her chair! I can't wait to take Gabe and Abby to Disney World!!!! Parks have been our new home lately, which I love! Abby loves to swing and she dives down head first on ANY slide! We are looking forward to being at the pool all summer, as well!
Well, I think I've covered the highlights about our sweet girl. Once again, I need to take more pictures and post more often ... I just haven't been making the time!
